Some people have a mission in life. Bruce of  bookscans.com has a big one:

The goal of the Bookscans Project is to provide a visual catalog of ALL vintage American paperbacks

Yes, you read that right. The website is a gold mine for the vintage book lover. It stores tons of scanned paperback book covers and dust jackets from the 1960s onwards.

Here are some scans I think are particularly awesome:

I'm a big sucker for Agatha Christie (there, my dirty literary secret's out now), so of course I think anything involving Hercule Poirot is great. (via bookscans.com)
